实践创新能力体现了应用型高校教师的地位和作用，是其青年教师教学基本能力的发展。实践创新能力可以看作是基本实践能力、综合实践能力发展的高级阶段，是应用本科院校青年教师在特定的社会实践环境下，有意识运用文化基础知识、专业知识和基本技能，通过不断地实践和探索研究，形成独创性思维，创造性地解决实践问题的能力，创新意识、创新精神、创新思维和创新能力可以视为其特征。实践创新能力，更具有实用性、实践性和可操作性，是提高应用型教育技能性和实践性的关键环节。应用型高校教师岗位职责和职业生涯规划要求青年教师具备一定的实践创新能力，并从教师职业、学科发展和社会角色的视角来审视应用型高校教师实践创新能力。

Practical innovation ability reflects the status and function of teachers in applied universities, which is the development of the basic teaching ability of their young teachers.
